In honor of #NationalFosterCareMonth, we would like to shout out some of our partners in the foster care community!
Amarillo Angels is an organization based in Amarillo that serves the entire Panhandle region. They have two programs that we especially love. The first is their Dare to Dream program. In this program, mentors are matched with youth aged 15-22. These mentors provide guidance as youth face the transition out of foster care.
The second program we would like to highlight is their Love Box program. This program looks to provide support to the entire foster family. This could be through providing items the family needs or by providing fun items like games that help the family bond. This program is a great way to get your friends together to help create a lasting connection with a local foster family.
